This Friday 12th March sees the 3rd birthday of the club night Az-Tech at the The Caves, Edinburgh. With the slogan 'breaks beneath the bridges' it sees some of the finest dj's in breaks playing in one of the most original venues Edinburgh has to offer. Az-Tech is run by friends and fellow beat-junkies Amy, Tim & Al, aka Siren, Re:Tox & Al Majik who support guest artists in the form of international dj's on a monthly basis.
This birthday sees the return of Maelstrom aka Mr Strom, from Pays de la Loire, France who made his Scottish debut in October of 2008:
'His captivating live set raced through territory so-far unchartered by the Az-Tech faithful- from the classic funky-breaks sound of his recent heritage, through the electro heartland of his formative years, taking in decimating Techno and thrillingly improvised Basslines along the way.'
